I love doing instagram drawing challenges, A lot of my Mermaid illustrations came from a challenge called Mermay. The challenge takes place in May and you are to draw one mermaid per day.
Lucy was actually inspired by my niece, she has the most cutest freckles you have ever seen. Her twin is Ruby who of course I drew a mermaid after as well!!!!
